Evening all,

Im in the middle of writing a letter of complaint to yamaha UK about some substandard work that was done by Brands Hatch Yamaha on my exhast valve, this has also led me to wonder (for the purposes of my complaint) if my fuel consumption has been effected by this...

I have my petrol light come on at about 100 miles and usually fill up at 110, Does anybody else have a 2006/2007 model R6 and if so what do you fill it up at?

I have an 07 with stock can & cat and with just general riding/commuting the light came on the other day at 123 and I can do another 20ish miles on top on fuel reserve. I'm sure if I didn't accelerate and brake so harsh, I could get it to 130+ but that's boring. Smile

It comes on around 90/100 as Chukka said, if you're going for it the whole time.

Hi,

I have a completely stock 2006 R6 and get about 130 miles before the light comes on. This is commuting to London miles as opposed to hooning it round the countryside miles.

What's up with your exhaust valve as my Exup motor failed the other month and needed to replace it. Brands Hatch did mine and always felt they did a fair job.

Regards
Andy
