Hi Bob
Save youself a few quid. In my experience (with my 08 ) I found that a steering damper will just slow your steering down a bit which really takes away from the R6s sweet , quick swing from side to side.
You can all but eliminate the slappy ti by sorting your forks. If it is still at stock settings try this and work from there:
Preload: 2 lines (6 turns)
Rebound: 15 clicks
High speed comp: 2 turns
Low speed comp: 10 clicks
Drop 1 click on rear rebound and low compression too.
All settings from fully turned in.
This works for me but I am close to Dani Pedrobot in weight so it may come up a bit soft and suspension settings are down to personal taste but it gives you a start to work back from. And could save you about £400
Let me know how it goes. _________________ I can argue with you about this until nightfall.
But at the end of the day, you'll still be a retard! |
